1 February 2010 – a new day…a new week…a new month and a new step forward!!

It is early in the morning, before we went to class, we decided to look for a lecturer to become our advisor and we think Puan Roslina is the most suitable for us. It was after FAR600 class, Amru approach Puan Roslina and share our idea with her. She feels so excited with our idea and straight away invited four of us to come to her room and discuss with her (we spend the whole lunchtime in her room!!). This is the starting point for us where Puan Roslina shows her support to us and it triggers the excitement inside us. We bring along our business framework and revenue model and explain in detail to her. She start to brief us on what should we do next and the important things to be noted.

She wants us to start work harder and be systematic by distributing task among us. She wants us to make a market research on our product by distributing questionnaire. She also explains on the types of revenue model we should rely on in order to obtain best price and costing for our business. We were very grateful because she is even willing to lend us a book to study on the method for costing. She also wants us to highlight certain issues to be aware of to prepare the executive summary and make the business a success.

We start to assign task to our group members where, Abu is responsible in costing and budget part, Zharif need to prepare the executive summary, meanwhile Aliff and Amru is conducting market research and gathering information. Puan Roslina remind us to work together and work hard because the time is not on our side where we only got a few days left to complete a strong executive summary.

After the meeting with Puan Roslina, we have a minute of discussion to plan the next step. We plan to go and see Puan Suria to request support from our faculty regarding our involvement in the competition.

That afternoon, around 4 p.m, we went to see Puan Suria at her room (Amru bring along his SLR camera!!). We introduce ourselves and explain our idea to her. She seems impress and willing to give us her full support. She promises to help us to get approval and support letter from our dean for our involvement in this competition. We feel so relief because all the things have gone smoothly so far. There are lots of people supported us especially Puan Roslina and Puan Suria.
