March 11, 2010 - Small Pitch to the Deputy Dean

The small pitch was just a preparation before the qualifying round this coming 13th. We pitch to Deputy Dean and get some feedback from the point view of faculty. She can see that this project would benefit the students even management of UiTM. She fully support us that SYCo should be implement in UiTM.

Thanks for the support Dr.Zuraidah and Pn. Suria. We loves UiTM.

March 10 2010 - Professor Dr. Mohd Zaki Salleh - Director of UILC

    

 UILC is the Industry Linkage Centre of UiTM where any outsider intend to do business with UiTM need to go through with UILC. Prof Zaki really interested with our idea as he think that is it fantastic!Its good to have SYCo in UiTM as it benefit the students even the management. We have obtained supporting letter from him on the feasibility of this project.Thanks Prof Zaki. You are such a great guy!

March 8 2010 - How to deal with Guns and the 2 Bullets??

We met Uv for the second time to consult our Elevator Pitch, Synopsis and Power Point Slide. Lucky Michael Reyes and Brandon were there and we've chance to meet them. They are such a great guys to hangout with and talk about your business idea. We've learned a lot how to make our Elevator Pitch more efficient and compelling as this will be judge by the judges which never heard of our business idea before. We've to make full use of the 2 minutes presentation with only an important points as to attract the judges and make sure they know what our business idea all about. Basically the pitch must be simple, clear and easy to understand.Thanks a lot Uv, Michael and Brandon for those advices.

March 07, 2010 - Training, Meeting, Schedule, Studying.....i'ts really 'tight'

This week really though for us. Preparation for the pitch, meeting with UV, pitch in front of our adviser, meeting with UILC (Prof. Zaki),design of the SYCo banner, brochure, training with our supporters and design the slide show. All of this for our Judgment Day on this March 13, 2010.

February 24, 2010 - UiTM Holdings and Malaysian Entrepreneurship Development Centre (MEDEC).

For today, we have set an appointment with UiTM Holdings Sdn. Bhd.at 2.30 p.m. We met Ms. Zubaidah and Ms. Khalilah who is the Business Development Manager. Again we briefly explain about our business idea (SYCo) and both of them are interested with SYCo project. They fully support our business idea because they think that the portal is unique and nobody ever think about it before. So they are preparing the supporting letter for our SYCo project as they can see that it can be and should be implemented in UiTM as this will solve the problem of communication between management, faculties and students. They are interested to explore more about our SYCo and asked us to present our business plan in future.

Next!after meeting with UiTM Holdings, We went to see Datin Assoc. Prof. Norela Nuruddin who is the Director for Malaysian Entrepreneurship Development Centre (MEDEC).  We pitch her our business idea and she also interested and feel that it's such a unique idea where nobody ever think off before. She such a great person as she spend more than 3 hours of her time entertain us, gave some brilliant ideas, what do we need to make our business plan look more attractive and compelling. She also wanted to attend the YES challenge competition to see the presentation. She prepared the supporting letter for our SYCo business project. She fully support our business plan as she can see that it can generate more income in future besides being the medium for communication in UiTM Shah Alam. Thanks a lot Datin Norela  =)

19th February 2010 : Meeting with Dean of Faculty Accountancy (Prof. Ibrahim Kamal)

We have an appointment with Dean of Faculty Accountancy (Prof. Ibrahim Kamal) at 7.40 a.m. We briefly explain what is SYCo all about, and from there he can see that our objective is mainly to help the UiTM students. He interested to explore more about our SYCo project and fully support that this outcome would benefit the UiTM students. So currently he is preparing the letter of support that our SYCo project would successfully implemented as he can see the outcome from this project. Thanks a lot and we appreciate your cooperation Prof. Ibrahim!Thanks for the support!  =)

8 February 2010 - Executive Summary! Finally..we made it!!

Finally, we managed to complete the exec summary. after all the hard work and sacrifices, this past 2 weeks mean a lot to us. Zharif managed to structured the exec summary with the help from group members, lecturer (Adviser - Roslina) and some friends. While Amru and Alif managed to give us the result from market research and it help a lot in completing the exec summary.

Abu is in charge in costing, for our projection revenue,cost and profit. He meet up some people in IT industry to get the expected initial cost (quotation)to set up the web portal.

Alhamdulillah we as a group managed to complete the job allocated in a given period of time. Thanks to all that support us. May GOD bless you..
